Shattering Perspective
Exhibition, Poster and Book
2020
Prior to the COVID-19 Pandemic, “Shattering Perspectives: The Teaching Collection of African Ceramics” was intended to be an exhibition at the Gregory Allicar Museum of Art at Colorado State University, for the collection of African ceramics we have in our archives. My graphic design class collaborated with an art history curating class to design and curate this exhibition. The art historians conducted research, while the designers created the exhibition marketing materials. My team and I created a poster, map, social media promo, and a museum guidebook. The concept behind our design was largely focused on the patterns seen on the ceramics.
