Typographic Poster
2019
This is a typography-based poster design inspired by a the 1970s designer, Ruth Ansel. Ansel is an American graphic designer who became a co-art director of Harper’s Bazaar in the 1960s alongside Bea Feitler. In the 1970s, she was art director of The New York Times Magazine, and in the 1980s House & Garden, Vanity Fair, and Vogue. She was the first female to hold these positions. My poster series was inspired by her work and cover art for Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar.
