In their words

“Stories: In Their Words” is an illustrated book, intended to be a continuation of my Undergraduate Honors Thesis. Using the same photographs I took of my friends and family, I illustrated their portraits in Procreate and asked each individual to hand-write a short passage about themselves. After illustrating their portraits and scanning and transcribing their passages, each person was given two spreads in my book: the first being their portrait (with their handwriting as background treatment) and copy, and the second spread being an image of their writing with a spot illustration relating to what they wrote about.
