The Ten-Point Program

This project involved choosing a speech by a Black community member who was/is an activist, advocate, motivational speaker, actor, artist, writer or other who speaks on the matter of Black Lives. Then, animate their speech using Adobe After Effects. I chose a section of a speech by Bobby Seale, a political activist who founded the Black Panther Party of Self Defense with Huey P. Newton in Oakland, California 1966. The section of the 1968 speech I animated consists of Bobby Seale outlining the Black Panther Party’s list of 10 demands for the Black Community.
